We are a community of adults 55+ who believe life is better when we continue to explore, make new friends, learn new things, and experience this beautiful place we call home.

Together, we discover the best of Ellijay and North Georgia—from easy hikes, waterfalls and gardens to local farms, museums, historical sites, vineyards, social gatherings and new adventures. Some days we’ll explore a trail. Other days we may meet a local farmer, discover a historical site, or simply enjoy being together over coffee or wine.

Whether you’ve lived here for decades or just arrived, Stay Active Ellijay offers a place to meet people, build friendships and feel more connected to our community.

SAE provides 8-10 activities a month happening Monday - Saturday during the day and some evenings depending on the activity. Only active SAE Members will see the details of the events to protect our members. This is a private club.

Come explore with us. Come connect with others. Come belong.
